The peeps over at myce have got their hands on an exclusive log file of Android 4.4 KitKat (or Key Lime Pie as it was to be called) from a Nexus 5. The log file shows the device running on build KRS74H and surprisingly one of the applications running on the Nexus 5 is Babel. Babel has been rumored to be Google’s new messaging service.
Below is some of the information gathered from the log files:-
- the Nexus 5 will have wireless charging
- Sensors (Magnetometer, Gyroscope, Barometer, Game Rotation Vector, Motion detector, Step detector) present on Nexus 5
- Possible support for Sprint
With the rumored October 14th release date for Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 it shouldn’t be long before we know we know the truth.
