Android 4.4 KitKat ScreenShot on Nexus 4 Leaks with Blue Icons

myce-android-screenshot-klp

The peeps over at myce have got their hands on another screenshot of Android 4.4 KitKat. This time it’s on a Nexus 4 and the status bar icons are back to blue. Previously leaked screenshot of Android 4.4 KitKat running on Nexus 5 had white status bar icons giving rise to rumors of a change in color scheme on Android 4.4 KitKat.

This color change of icons is giving rise to rumors that Android 4.4 KitKat may come with inbuilt theme support. Inbuilt theme support would be a good feature to have on Android 4.4 KitKat for peeps who prefer the old blue color scheme of Android. Let’s see what Google comes with Android 4.4 KitKat.

What’s that icon in the notification bar, next to the Gmail icon? It looks like a slice of pie. I’ve not seen that one before.

Just noticed that too. Not sure what that is.

I think it’s a Key Lime Pie icon. I think Google really did plan on calling it KLP, but it changed recently to Kit Kat and there’s still remnants of Key Lime Pie in the OS. If you notice, one of the leaked benchmarks also had Key Lime Pie as the name. I’ve also seen this icon somewhere on a leaked shot before.
