Day before yesterday we reported that the peeps over at myce had got their hands on a log file from Nexus 5. Well the same guys have gone through the log file in more detail and we now have detailed specs of the Nexus 5.
- a 5″ screen (actually, 4.97″) with 1080p resolution 442ppi pixel density
- Snapdragon 800 chipset with 2GB of RAM
- 16GB storage (let’s hope we have a 32gb version as well)
- Android 4.4 Key Lime Pie (a.k.a. Android 4.4 KitKat)
- 8MP rear camera
- 1.2MP front-facing camera
- dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac
- Bluetooth 4.0
- NFC
- GPS
- Wireless Charging
- accelerometer, magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity and light sensors as well as a barometer
- 2,300 mAH battery (from FCC, not shown in the log file)
What’s interesting here is a 8mp camera, looks like Google wants to cut costs on the Nexus 5 as it’s supposedly based on LG G2 but the G2 has a 13mp camera. Only if Google can add OIS to the 8mp camera on the Nexus 5 I personally would be more than happy.
