Best speakers in a smartphone not good enough for you? Today is your day! Sprint has announced that they will carry a Harman/Kardon HTC One M8 beginning May 2nd. As the name implies, it has some extras from Harman/Kardon, a very big name in the audio world.
The first thing you will notice is the color. It has a black back with champagne gold speaker grills, which simply looks amazing. But the biggest difference comes on the software side. HTC and Harman/Kardon worked together to improve an already pleasant music experience for true audio fans. They created Clari-Fi, software that helps to “rebuild” music fidelity lost during audio compression.
The HTC One M8 Harman/Kardon edition will be available online May 2nd and in stores on May 9th for $28.34/month for 2 years. Sprint is also throwing in some extras:
- Free Harman/Kardon AE-S headphones ($149 retail).
- You can also purchase the Harman Kardon Onyx Studio ($399 retail) for $99.
- 6 months free Spotify service for Sprint customers on the Framily plan.
