The Today Show happens to be one of my favorite pass times in the morning while I’m having my coffee and getting ready for work. This morning Savannah Guthrie from the Today Show announced the official Today app for Android.
This excited me on a few different levels. One, I’m a fan of the show and all of the crew (especially All Roker), secondly, my house can get crazy at times (wife and 4 kids) and can be tough to catch the big stories, finally there are stories I like to share or look at later in the day.
So far the app really seems to be just about in sync with the TV show. With in minutes of the Today Show airing a story, it’s on the app with a full written story and the whole video.
My two daily drivers are the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (CM 10.1) and the 2013 Nexus 7. The Today Show app runs smoothly and looks great on both devices.
When I wrote this article the Google Play Store said there was only +100 downloads. Be one of the first to check this app out if the Today Show is your thing.
