Bootloader Jailbreak Now Available for Verizon Note 10.1

The last few days have been full of news of bootloader unlocks, well today would be no different, the bootloader on the Verizon Note 10.1 has been jailbroken, and you wonder what do we mean by jailbreaking an Android device (more details on that further down the article). Verizon is known for locking bootloaders on it’s devices but it’s always been a cat and mouse game with Android developers.

Thanks to xda developers recognized elite developer Adam Outler the Note 10.1 on Verizon is now a free bird. Please note the process will also install TWRP recovery on your Verzion Note 10.1. Now, coming back to using the term jailbreak, well I’ll have to quote Adam for an answer to that:-

Hey, you can’t jailbreak an Android.. yeah, i know, but “Jailbreak” is a protected act under the USA DMCA Exemption of 2012 and “Unlocking” is illegal without carrier permission. There will be no misunderstandings here.
