Happy Thanksgiving everyone! For most people, today is a day to relax, spend time with the family, and reflect on what we are thankful for. For others, it is a day of web surfing, coupon cutting, and little rest while they prepare to spend the night in the cold, finding deals on Christmas gifts. If you fall into the second group, there are a few apps that can save you some time and hopefully money, while you are shopping today through Cyber Monday.

Amazon: Great app to do quick price checks while in a store shopping. Several big box stores also price match Amazon. Play Store

PayPal: Several local retailers and most online retailers accept PayPal, get it set up and ready to use for secure shopping. Play Store

shopkick: You are already going to walk into several stores, why not get rewarded for doing so? This app gives you points for walking into specific stores and also sometimes provide coupons for these stores. All you have to do is create an account and collect points. You cash these points for gift cards in the app. It is very simple and I have used it to get over $100 in gift cards in the past six months. Play Store

Slickdeals: This app is gold for bargain hunters. It is an app based on Slickdeals, a community driven deals site with constant updates of price, location, coupons, and expiration dates, all in an easy to use app. Play Store: Slickdeals, Black Friday App by Slickdeals

BFAds: This is my favorite Black Friday site. They have ad scans, links to the deals, and they let you know when a store starts their sales. They also do daily deal round ups. While they do not have an app, I think this is a very useful site and worth checking out.
