LG G Flex is now official – 6 inch curved OLED screen and Snapdragon 800 processor


 After multiple leaks, LG made G Flex,its first Android based smartphone with curved display official. The 6 inch HD display is based on OLED technology to allow the curvature on the horizontal axis.

LG G Flex also comes with self healing technology applied to back cover. LG says light scratches on the back cover can be removed with in minutes with this new technology. It also carries design elements from LG G2 like thin bezel and rear mounted buttons.

13 MP rear and 2.1 MP front cameras

LG G Flex comes with Android 4.2.2 version of JellyBean with LG’s custom interface which includes below features

Dual Window ( for multi tasking making use of 6 inch screen )
Swing lock screen ( Depending on slope of smartphone the lock screen moves )
Q Theatre ( to access apps like gallery, YouTube, video player from lock screen )
Face Detection Indicator ( Rear camera face recognition based on the results of shooting the rear LED lamp color changes )
Charging Mode
Urgent Call Alert
Camera Timer
Knock-On, Guest Mode, Plug and Pop ( introduced with LG G2 )

LG G Flex will be launched next month in the Korean domestic market and there is no word on when it will be made available globally.
