AT&T and Verizon Moto X have been rooted thanks to @jcase. The root method has not been released yet but we will keep you informed once the root method for AT&T and Verizon Moto X is released. In the mean time please do not take any OTA updates if you want to root your AT&T and/or Verizon Moto X.

Yes we know he only mentions about the Verizon Moto X but trust us when we say that the exploit will work with AT&T Moto X as well. Let’s hope the wait is not long.
