First of all, I just want to say that I am so grateful that this great phone is still getting love from Samsung and Sprint. Two years ago this was the phone to have if you were a Sprint costumer (it’s competition was the HTC Evo 3D and the Nexus S 4G).
Anyhoo…. The Samsung Epic Touch 4G is to receive the Android 4.1 update only available with Samsung Kies. The new software version will be build number GB27. Sprint says due to the size of the 4.1 update it’s only available over the wire.
As most of you know Jelly Bean brings Google Now, project butter and other goodies.
The update is available for download and installation now. Grab that sexy Epic Touch 4G and get some official 4.1 goodness on there.
