LG G Flex U.S. Carrier Line-up Announced at CES 2014

Amid new 4K UHD panels and “connected” stainless steel appliances, LG Electronics announced the U.S. carriers planning to carry the LG G Flex at their CES 2014 press conference today. Slated for release in the first-quarter of 2014, the carrier line-up includes Sprint, AT&T, and T-Mobile. Specific pricing and dates are to be released at a later date, and there was no mention of Verizon Wireless.

While very similar to the LG G2 in appearance, the G Flex features a flexible display and curved frame that Morris Lee, Senior Vice President of North American Sales and Marketing, stated, “[It] gives users an immersive cinema experience.” In addition to the flexible frame, the back allows for slight scratches to be self-healing as shown in the below video.
