Samsung has unveiled its newest incarnation into the world of tablets, the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2. With a 12.2-inch WQXGA Widescreen (16:10) display at 2,560 x 1,600 resolution, this is highest resolution tablet for the consumer market to date.

The Wifi and 3G models will have Samsung’s Exynos 5 pairing four 1.9GHz and four 1.2GHz processors while the LTE model will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core at 2.3Ghz. All models will come with a full 3GB of RAM which should allow it to run up to four simultaneous apps at once. Between that massive display, modern processors, and a slew of other features, the Galaxy NotePRO is no slouch.

This new tablet follows the same tried and true design used with the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition and Galaxy Note 3, but scaled up for the 12.2″ display so current users of either device will be familiar with the shape. There are a few software additions including a new Magazine UX designed to take advantage of the larger display.
