AFN – Week in Review

Hi there Android Fans! This past week has been a busy one for the Team and this coming week doesn’t look like it will be slowing down at all. In case you missed them, here are a few of the top posts at AFN from this past week.

CyanogenMod 10.2

We posted about CyanogenMod 10.2 nightly love for the Galaxy S4, HTC One, Nexus 7 FHDVerizon Note 2 and slew of other devices. Check it out if you want to get your flash on.

Team AFN Editor David Quillinan sounded off about his addiction to crack flashing custom ROMS has become of thing of the past thanks to CyanogenMod’s take on Jellybean.

Nexus 7 News

Our Nexus 7 FHD review by Nick and side-by-side review with the Nexus 7 (2012) from Kevin are live. Nick also did a great review on the Official Nexus 7 Sleeve. We are giving away the Official Nexus 7 Sleeve to a lucky follower of our Google+, Twitter or Facebook feeds. Contest rules are at the end of Nick’s review, check it out.

nexusae0_15Phablets galore!

Fans of ridiculously large phones (or curiously small tablets?) got some good news this week. Following AT&T and T-MobileVerizon’s LG Optimus G2 signup page finally went live. @evleaks posted about an upcoming white LG Optimus G Pro for AT&T along with the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3. You can read our our full review of the Galaxy Mega 6.3 LTE here.

On Verizon… Finally.

Site News

Android Fan Network has updated our home on Google Plus from a user account to a Google Plus page. Having a Google Plus page allows the staff here at AFN to better interact with you – our Android Fans – and allows us to link back our YouTube channel reviews directly into Google Plus.

If you are still following our old Google Plus account, please take a minute to check out our new page and circle us so you don’t get left out:

We are also doing some additional work behind the scenes to improve the site. Please pardon the mess as we update links. If you find a broken link, please take a minute to let us know about it here.

Coming up

There are some more great reviews and giveaways in the works. Stay tuned to our Google+, Twitter or Facebook feeds for details during the next few weeks.
