Android 4.3 ROM for Google Edition Galaxy S4

 

 

ROMs based on yet to be released Android 4.3 seems to be the current trend.  Two days back rooted flashable zip based on leaked system dump of Android 4.3 popped up for Nexus 4 and this time a new Android 4.3 ROM based on leaked images appeared for Google edition Galaxy S4 on XDA

Here is the ROM description from XDA

“” This is from the newest system dump of Android 4.3 that was built on (7/11/13) and leaked on (7/18/13) from the i9505G (S4 Google Edition) variant.
I have created a flashable zip for custom recovery (TWRP/CWM) by extracting the system dump files and adding an update script.
There is no need to install a custom kernel because it works for i337 after flashing loki-doki.
All add-ons and mods, such as root, are not pre-installed and must be flashed after flashing the rom. This rom is Odex and UNTOUCHED. “” 

 

You can observe the build number from above screenshot is JWR66V. It differs  from build number- JWR66V of leaked Android 4.3 system dump for Nexus 4 and looks to be more recent version. Here at XDA you can find download link for ROM, prerequisites, instructions on how to flash and bugs. So get ready and flash this ROM on your Google Edition Galaxy S4 ( Don’t forget to take a nandroid backup before flashing).
