Root comes to Samsung Galaxy S4 i9500

Samsung’s flagship for 2013, the Samsung Galaxy S4 i9500 has been rooted. The phone is yet to be in the hands of common people and is supposed to ship in April, but a leaked system dump helped in getting root on the device.

Samsung Galaxy S4The method uses the leaked rom as a base, and you will need to know how to use Odin. So if you are one of the lucky ones who got a review unit of the Galaxy S4 from Samsung and want to root it go for it. As always neither we nor the developers are responsible for any bricked devices.

Please note the root method works only on the Samsung Galaxy S4 i9500 running on official Android 4.2.2 XXUAMC6 Jelly Bean but not on the quad-core Snapdragon 600 variant with model number i9505.
