How to Root Android 4.3

Motorola rootWith Google pushing out Android 4.3 to Nexus devices today we are pretty sure you would have the urge to root it. Well in case you have not rooted yet and want to root your Nexus device running Android 4.3 follow the instructions below.

Pre-requiste – You need to have a custom recovery installed, TWRP is preferred for this root method as issues have been reported with CWM.

  • Download SuperSU by Chainfire
  • Place the zip in your Nexus device’s internal memory
  • Reboot into recovery and flash the file and you should have root

If you insist on using CWM then you need to uncheck the option to “disable stock recovery flash” in case it shows up.
