The little dongle is doing wonders in the custom ROM world now, Koushik Datta posted a video showing Chormecast support built into CyanogenMod. You can stream any content (audio or video) to your Chromecast using any app.
Any audio or video you play on your phone will result in a “Play on Chromecast” notification in the notification area, tap on it and boom, the content will stream to your Chromecast. Doesn’t get more simpler than that peeps.
No word on release though but we are pretty sure it should be part of CyanogenMod 10.2 pretty soon.
