Xiami announces Hongmi (Red Rice) Smartphone for $130

 

Continuing it’s product range of MI1, MI2 and MI2s, Chinese Smartphone Manufacturer Xiami today in a press conference, announced Homemi (Red Rice) smartphone. It comes with MIUI v5 operating system based on Android 4.2.2 JellyBean.

Here are the major specs of Xiami Hongmi (Red Rice) Smartphone.

1GB RAM, 4 GB internal storage
4.7″ IPS retina screen, 312PPI and resolution of 1280*720 ( 720p)

Xiami priced Hongmi (Red Rice) Smartphone at  RMB 799 (About $130) and 100 thousand units are available for order starting today through QQ space & orders will be shipped from August 12.   Xiami Hongmi comes with decent spec sheet and at this price along with MIUI OS it looks be an interesting option.
