Roman Birg, founder of the Android Open Kang Project (AOKP) which is the second most popular aftermarket Android distribution, is joining Cyanogen, Inc. He is excited about this new journey but has tweeted that he will not stop contributing to AOKP even after joining Cyanogen, Inc.
Alright, so before any rumor mills start: yes, I will be joining @CyanogenInc – and no I will not stop contributing to AOKP.

Birg started AOKP in November 2011. It was well received by Android Community and gained a lot of following. Almost all well-known Android devices has an AOKP ROM available.
We are yet to hear the comments of the Cyanogen, Inc.. on this and hope his entry will bring more innovations and exciting features to the products Cyanogen, Inc. launches in future.
