ROM Manager is back in Google Play Store

Yesterday we heard news on ROM Manager taken down from Google Play Store due to violation of Google Play Store’s developer program policies, but now it’s back on Play Store.

Koushik Dutta, developer of the app has posted on Google Plus that he managed to get it reinstated.

On a happier note, I managed to get it reinstated after emailing a dozen different people. Thanks to +Ellie Powers for escalating this within Google.

The app was taken down as it had upgrade option through PayPal, which violates Google Play Store’s billing policy. The policy states any app on Google Play Store must only use Play Store billing service as method of payment for any in-app purchases.  It looks the drama is over and app is back available now (link below) as the PayPal upgrade option seems to be removed.
