Asus PadFone Mini Launched In Taiwan, 7-inch Tablet and 4.3 Inch Phone
Asus has unveiled their new PadFone Mini in Taiwan today. The Asus PadFone Mini is an Android based hybrid device combining a 4.3 inch smartphone and 7 inch tablet. It includes the software features like a Hi-Light Owl Camera Mode and high-speed continuous shooting aboard which were initially introduced with the Asus PadFone.
Major specs of Asus PadFone Mini include:
- 4.3 inch screen with 960 X 540 resolution
- 1.4GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 CPU
- 1 GB LPDDR2 RAM
- 16 GB internal storage with micro SD card slot
- PixelMaster 8.0 MP rear camera and 2.0 MP front camera
- 1500 mAh battery
- Android 4.3 JellyBean
The tablet part features a 7 inch screen at 1280 X 800 resolution and second 2,200 mAh battery. Asus is offering the PadFone Mini in Black, White and Cherry Milk colors but only Black is available at launch.
The off-contract price of the Asus PadFone Mini in Taiwan is set to NT $11,900 ($405) and is expected to be released in additional Asian markets including China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Indonesia.
