Seems as though HTC did it again, the “One” has been released in Taiwan for a little bit now and seems as though it’s been plagued with several body fitment issues. Pictures surfaced online of gaps between pieces, pieces overlapping one another and worse of all gaps behind the glass over the screen that papers can fit in!
At first I was thinking HTC kept pushing back this phone to make sure they put it out properly, with little to no major kinks but I was wrong. I mean seriously you guys couldn’t learn from the One X? My international model I had was plagued with issues, from WiFi to stress cracks on the corners and the screen popping up and having to be pushed back down. To top it all off if one of us here in the States were to buy one from a overseas supplier like I typically do, HTC won’t honor the warranty! I get the same malarkey I always get “sorry sir you don’t live in Europe so we can’t honor it”.
So what does this mean to you as the potential purchaser? That you should get it directly from your carrier, it gives you a piece of mind of being able to use your warranty if your one who gets a lemon of a phone.
