There’s no doubt the Sony Xperia Z Ultra is a big and beautiful phone. The biggest draw to the Z Ultra is the screen size weighing in at a whopping 6.44 inch corner to corner display. You can’t deny the build quality, the beautiful screen and uniqueness of the phone, but you may not be a fan of Sony’s UI. And that’s OK because we’re talking about a Sony device which is legendary in the development department. Chances are if you’re reading this article you’ve unlocked the boatloader, installed a custom recovery and have root access.

If this Sony UI isn’t your cup of tea and you want the latest version of Android on that big beautiful beast of yours, Cyanogenmod Nightlies have started rolling out for the Sony Xperia Z Ultra. If your a fan of big screens and AOSP you can get the best of both worlds with CyanogenMod 10.2. The ROM for the Sony Xperia Z Ultra is available under the “togari” codename. As usual it’s a very slim ROM at 217mb and buttery smooth for sure (or let’s hope). It’s always a good idea to create a backup when dealing with nightlies or any custom ROM for that matter.

CyanogenMod 10.2 for Moto X is now available for you to tinker with. The build is for GSM variants only and you need to have an unlocked bootloader. What’s working :-

Official CyanogenMod 10.2 nightly builds available for Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One, Nexus and more devices now. CyanogenMod 10.2 is based on Android 4.3 released few wees ago. Though multiple Unofficial builds based on CyanogenMod sources are already available for Nexus 7 2013 at XDA,  Official nightly builds ( CyanogenMod 10.2 based on Android 4.3 JellyBean ) from CyanogenMod started appearing. Unofficial CyanogenMod 10.2 build is now available for you to play with for your AT&T HTC One X and XL. Below is a list of things which is not working in this build.

• Bluetooth
• Android 4.3′s new AppOps feature currently blocks Mms.apk from allowing SMS/MMS messages to be sent.
• Camera isn’t functioning

Fixes for last 2 issues will be present in the next build. Other than that everything else is working fine, so go ahead peeps and play with CyanogenMod 10.2 on your AT&T HTC One X and XL.
