Motorola is doing everything in it’s power to make you notice them. They are not only attacking the smartphone market with great devices (Moto X), but also attacking the price point of smartphones (Moto G & E).

Starting at 12 a.m. ET on June 4th, you can grab a great device at entry level pricing. Motorola is knocking $100 off of an already great price for 48 hours, bringing the 16GB variant to $249 and the 32GB model to $299. The closest priced “flagship” device is the Nexus 5 at $349/399, making this an extremely tempting deal for anyone currently looking for a phone.

Head to the link below in a few hours and grab your customized Moto X while they last.

If you’ve been hankering for this big beauty and waiting for a deal like this to come along, wait no longer. Woot! is selling the 16 GB version for $364 and the 32 GB for $389 (those are pretty substantial savings. Keep in mind both versions are factory reconditioned and come in both black or white. In my opinion, it’s pretty darn safe buying “factory” reconditioned devices from major OEM’s.

As of writing this article you have 16 hours to take advantage of this pretty substantial deal Samsung is running, and if you’re looking for a pretty kick ass 10 inch tablet, this is one of the best your money can buy. Hit the link down below for more information.

Then bring it to any RadioShack store, and provide it to them when you preorder. Perusing the fine print, it looks like you’ll need to deposit $50 on a giftcard as part of the pre-order. You will then be given a $50 coupon to bring back when you pick up and pay for the Galaxy S5 at which time the deposit and coupon would be applied. The only question that remains is what price this $50 discount is taken from, since retailers tend to have slightly different pricing compared to the carriers. You can hit the source link for details.

With the new line up of Nexus tablets right around the corner, Verizon has finally gotten their head out of their asses with the Nexus 7 2013 FHD LTE. I’m not a fan of inking a 2-year contract with any carrier for a tablet, but if you’re a Verizon customer and itching to get your hands on a LTE Nexus 7 FHD, they’re offering that very tablet when you sign a 2 year contract for $49. Before you ink that 2-year deal for last year’s Nexus 7, you may want to wait a few more months to see what’s doing with the new Nexus tablets that may be announced late Spring/Summer.

I’ve recently upgraded my WiFi Nexus 7 FHD to the LTE model and couldn’t be happier, but again, with the new Nexus tablets just around the corner, I don’t suggest inking a 2 year contract, even if it’s still a killer tablet. Hold on to your horses and see what Google has up their sleeves for 2014 – hopefully even a LTE Nexus 8…

Motorola is also adding in a discount for existing college students. Simply register your .edu email address and they will bring the 16GB variant down to $339 off contract.

Today Verizon announced a new plan for prepaid customers, the ALLSET Plan. It is similar to any prepaid plan, giving you a set amount of minutes, messages, and data for 30 days. With the addition of BRIDGE DATA, they are bringing something completely new to prepaid. In addition to the base plan, BRIDGE DATA allows you to purchase additional data that will rollover for up to 90 days.

The base package for a smartphone is simple, $45 gives you unlimited minutes, unlimited texts, and 500MB of data. BRIDGE DATA then gives you a choice of three data buckets to add on.

500 MB for $5 with 30-day expiration

1 GB for $10 with 90-day expiration

3 GB for $20 with 90-day expiration

Verizon is also sweetening the pot by giving an extra 500MB to anyone who adds auto pay to their account(for a total of 1GB before using BRIDGE DATA). They are also throwing in 1000 free minutes for calling Canada and Mexico, and they are not charging extra for texts to Canada and Mexico. All in all, it’s not a bad value for a prepaid plan. Add in the fact that you can roll over unused BRIDGE DATA, this should be very appealing to anyone looking to break free from their contract but still needing Verizon coverage.

I know what you’re thinking. Dave, why the hell are you telling us about a refurbished Droid X2? Pretty simple really. If you’re a phone seller and buyer like myself and need a back up phone because you just sold your gem and need something to call mom on, then a Droid X2 will do that just fine. Or, if you have a friend or family member that could careless about 4G LTE, 1080P, or an ocatcore active display phone, and just Facebook, make phone calls, and text…. The Droid X2 is a hell of a phone for “that” person.

Just a few disclaimers before you hit that purchase button -

It is a 3G phone and not 4G

It’s refurbished

If you are grandfathered in the Verizon unlimited plan, going from a 4G phone to a 3G phone can make that unlimited plan go to a 2 gig plan.

If none of the above bother or affect you, then by all means grab this deal. Might be fun to see what’s doing with development on this phone too. Grab one here.
