ROM Manager Gets The Boot From Google Play Due to Payment Issues

image

Old faithful ROM manager, one of my favorite tools when I was new to flashing zips to my Evo 4G, gets the boot from the Google Play Store. Koushik Dutta was told by Google to remove any PayPal links connected to his app supplied on Google Play. He complied with the app Helium, but according to Koushik, Google booted ROM Manager within the time limit they gave him to fix the PayPal issues with all of his apps. Hopefully Koushik gets this straightened out and we have ROM Manager back in our lives (even though I haven’t used it in years)

Is Koushik and CyanogenMod being picked on by Google? I don’t think so, but I’m sure the folks over at CyanogenMod Inc are thinking they have a target on their back.

Are they being picked on or just not following the rules? Let us know in the comments.
