Samsung has posted Android 4.4 Kitkat kernel source for Google Play Edition Samsung Galaxy S4 ( GT-I9505G ). This suggests that Android 4.4 OTA update for Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition is around the corner.
Kernel source code is useful for developers who make custom kernels. However this doesn’t mean everything is ready to build a custom ROM based on Android 4.4 KitKat.
Hit the below link that takes you to Samsung website if you want to download the kernel source. Version number of the source is MKG and It’s about 399 MB in size.
