Samsung has 63% share of all Android devices

Samsung has 63.3% share of all Android devices followed by HTC and Lg having 6.5% and 5.9% share respectively. That share includes smartphones, phablets and tablets. Sony and Motorola has 5.6% and 5% share and all other come up to 13.5%.

These figures suggest how Samsung  has been domination the Android market while all other manufacturers has aggregated share of just 36.7%  ( nearly half to Samsung’s share).

 Out of top 10 smartphones, 6 are from Samsung Galaxy series and top 3 are from Galaxy S3 series. Galaxy S3 tops the list ( 15.1% ) followed by S4 and S3 with 7.4% and 5.2% share . HTC One and Droid Razr are the only non-Samsung smartphones in top 10 list.

When it comes to tablets, Samsung has 5 out of top 10 tablets with total share of 53%. Galaxy Tab 2 7” tops the list with 21.8% share followed by Galaxy Tab 2 10.1” and Nexus 7 with 16.7% and 15.2% share.
