Verizon Moto X Designed by You Ordering Page Live but Temporarily Out of Stock

We are a step closer to the other major carriers having their own Moto Maker option available. The Verizon website went live for their Designed by You Moto X page but shows as, “This item is temporarily out of stock.” Pricing follows the recent price drop with $99 on a two-year contract ($499 outright) for the 16Gb models. If you need 32Gb storage, you can still look at the Developer Edition Moto X at $550.

Colors up on the page are red, blue, teal, magenta and yellow and have Big Red’s logo rendered on the backs like the already available Woven Black and Woven White Moto X. Nothing is up on the Verizon site about the wood grain backs.

We already blew past the rumored November 8 availability date for T-Mobile and the Sprint Moto Maker experience is rumored for tomorrow. I guess we will see if that is actually the case and all three carriers (four if U.S. Cellular hops on) are joining AT&T’s exlusive design your own party tomorrow.motoxmaker-sign

Also, a (somewhat shoddy) render of what we can expect for custom engraving was shown encouraging us that Motorola sorted our what they needed to do for this to work right and will be offering it soon as well.

Too bad the backs are not sold separately. Personally, I would love to have a red Developer Edition Moto X. With the Nexus 5 apparently not coming to Verizon, does the Moto X fit the bill for you guys?
