As per the latest rumors Nexus 5 16gb will cost you $399 and 32gb $449 from the Play Store. The information has been passed on to the peeps over at Android.gs by an insider at Google. The same insider has also mentioned that Google will also be launching Nexus 4 LTE (priced at $299 for 16gb and $349 for 32gb version).

Does this make sense, to me a big NO. Why would Google do so? Even though the Nexus 4 has LTE support if Google has planned to do so they would have never sold out the inventory of Nexus 4. Also, Nexus 4 never had a 32gb version, only 8gb and 16gb versions.

Nexus 5 launching at $399 for the 16gb is a possibility but launching the Nexus 4 LTE really doesn’t make any sense. Why would someone buy a year old phone. Instead if Google launching Nexus 5 LTE makes more sense and may result in the Nexus 5 being the phone of the year.

Apple keeps their old phones instead of developing new “cheaper” ones.
But I do agree – The Nexus series is probably not intended to have a full range of phones pricewise.
