In addition to the new Kindle Fire HDX 7 and 8.9 Amazon also annouced a refreshed Kindle Fire HD 7. The best part about the new Kindle Fire HD is that it’s cheap and nearly a $100 saving over the Nexus 7 2013. Priced at $139 the new Kindle Fire HD will sell like hot cakes during the holiday season.
How is it different from the 2012 model, well the 1GHz dual-core processor has been replaced with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. Everything else is still the same – a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1280×800, 1GB of RAM.
The refreshed Kindle Fire HD is up for pre-order and will start shipping on October 2nd.
