Good news for HTC One fans in India waiting for dual sim variant. HTC India website listed HTC One dual sim on it’s page of Smartphone offerings.  Major specs like 1.7 GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 4 MP UltraPixel camera remains the same. However instead of 32 GB internal storage like in regular variant, it comes with 16 GB internal storage along with microSD card support upto 64 GB. The aluminium uni body design feature is missing, it now features a removable back cover to accommodate microSD card slot and two sim cards. 2300 mAh battery is still not removable though.

There is no word on pricing and availability yet, HTC India website just listed it as coming soon. Emerging Smartphone markets like India has good demand for dual-sim devices but no manufacturer has launched dual sim variant of their flagship phone yet.

Android 4.2.2 roll out started for Chinese version of HTC One – Dual Sim.  This is a sign that the Android 4.2.2. roll out for the international HTC One should be just around the corner. However it may take some time to arrive on US carrier variants.
