The T-Mobile LG G3 is available for pre-order on their site for $598. It will be available in stores on the 16th, and the fine print says that pre-orders will ship by July 15th.

As always, T-Mobile will spread the full purchase price over 24 months for approved buyers. This means you can get the LG G3 for $24.95/month if dropping $598 all at once feels like a bit much.

Everyone has their favorite phone, and for me the HTC One M8 is the best so far this year. When you weigh in price, speed of updates, warranty, build quality, and general feel, it is hard to beat the HTC One M8.

Now, T-Mobile is making the HTC One M8 even more enticing. Normally priced at $636, they are offering it on sale for $588. There is no end date listed and I saw this sale last week last for less than 24 hours so act fast if you have been holding out for one.

When comparing the locked T-Mobile version to the Developer Edition or unlocked variant straight from HTC available at $699, you are saving $111. And T-Mobile will let you finance the phone interest free for 24 months making this deal even easier on your wallet. Something else to remember, the T-Mobile variant is the only M8 to have all bands required for full 3G/4G support in all areas. The unlocked or Developer Edition are simply unbranded AT&T M8′s. They will get 3G/4G in refarmed areas just fine, but wander into an area that T-Mobile has not upgraded and back to 2G you go.

Right on the heels of the Android 4.4.3 announcement, Motorola has announced that Android 4.4.3 will begin rolling out to it’s devices starting today. First, it will roll out to the T-Mobile Moto X along with any Moto G or Moto E purchased online in the US. As a bonus for Moto E users, this does not count towards Motorola’s one promised OS update.

All three devices received:

• Android 4.4.3, including several stability, framework and security fixes in addition to accuracy improvements to the power profile.
• An updated Phone dialer with a new graphical layout and colors to improve consistency and usability.

While the Moto X and Moto G received:

• Added the ability to pause video recording with a convenient pause/resume button.
• Motorola Alert application that can send periodic alerts with your location to your selected contacts.

The Moto X also gained:

• Improved camera image quality including better consistency of exposure, more realistic flash coloring, improved photos in low light conditions using front camera.

For the entire month of June, Sprint is allowing any customer to add device protection to their account. Normally device protection must be added at the time of purchase, but Sprint is allowing it to be added to any phone, tablet, modem, netbook, or notebook this month.

This applies to all three tiers of device protection that Sprint offers, including protection for devices on Sprint’s prepaid plans. For Sprint post paid customers, either bring the device into a store or visit here to enroll. Boost, Virgin, and Sprint prepaid customers can simply log onto their accounts and add the protection to their account.

Not everyone buys or even uses carrier insurance, but  it is invaluable to those that like to routinely see if their device is waterproof or can fly. If you are one of those people and are on Sprint, head to the link below for the full announcement.

Verizon has announced that starting June 5th they will carry the Amber Gold HTC One M8 online and at select retailers. Nothing special there as it has been available from Best Buy and HTC.com in Amber Gold for some time.

However, the second color they announced has me looking at my Amber Gold M8 with part disgust and part regret. Verizon announced Glamour Red, and it looks amazing. Glamour Red is a Verizon exclusive and is also available online and in retailers starting June 5th.

Yesterday was full of new for LG fans. Between the fantastic specs, the beautiful screen, or the fact that they added a removable battery, LG’s press event was packed full of info. Unless you wanted a price or release date that is.

The four major carriers quickly posted pages so you can sign up for future updates, but price and availability remain elusive. Sprint has an exclusive on Shine Gold, and if you pre-register you will be entered to win one of 20 LG G3s they are giving away. T-Mobile is also giving away one G3 per day through June 28th, but no start date was given. AT&T just wants your info, same with Verizon.

Google Camera has updated to version 2.2.024 this evening, bringing back timers and the ability to choose 4:3 or 16:9. Google has also added fisheye and wide angle to the panorama setting. Head to the Play Store to update the app and enjoy.

And bringing up the rear with software updates is Verizon. I know, I know, this is nothing new. Anyways, Verizon HTC One M7 owners will start seeing software update 4.10.605.3 push out to their devices today.

This update brings Sense 6 as well as moving Blinkfeed and a few other HTC apps to the Play Store. Verizon also lists a few other additions, including some Wi-Fi and ISIS fixes.

Please note (see screenshot above), this appears to close the WeakSauce root exploit, so if root is a must you will want to hold off on this update for a little bit. Or just keep your current custom ROM with root.
