World’s First Rotating Camera Smartphone

OPPO was the first in the world to release a 13-megapixel camera smartphone. With the N1, we are once again realizing new possibilities in smartphone photography. Introducing the world’s first smartphone with a rotating camera.

The revolutionary rotating camera features a 206° rotation, and will securely lock at any angle. No matter what angle you choose, having just one amazing camera means that front facing shots are finally just as good as back facing shots.

O-Touch Panel

O Touch is an entirely new way of using your smartphone. A 12 cm2 rear touch panel makes one handed use for the large OPPO N1 screen comfortable and easy. With O-Touch you can scroll, tap, or snap photos – all without your fingers blocking the display.

O-Click Control

O-Click lets you remotely operate the N1 camera even when you’re away from the device. Simply position the N1 and step back to include everything you want to capture. If you misplace your device, find it by setting off an alarm on the phone. O-Click fits on your keychain and supports a range of up to 50 meters, staying connected to your OPPO N1 via Bluetooth (BLE).

Oppo seems to be on roll announcing multiple high end Android devices. Last week we heard about new device, Oppo Find 7 with staggering specs like 5 inch FULL HD (1080 p) display,Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor,13-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera and 4000 mAh battery. Now Oppo confirms that it’s working on Android based camera named N-lens series to compete with Samsung Galaxy Camera.

As per engadget, Oppo representative confirmed the name of Oppo’s new product line: N-Lens, focusing mainly on photography and it will be the most important flagship series for Oppo going forward.

No other details on phone capability or other specs are available at this time, but a high-resolution camera powered by Android along with great low-light performance is what we can expect.

Most of by buddies know I am sucker for red phones, so just a few minutes ago one of my buddies Mike pointed me to a red Oppo Find 5. Yes peeps, it’s the Oppo Find 5 in red, this is going to be a limited edition phone and should be coming out pretty soon.

The Oppo Find 5 is no bummer of a phone, I had one and trust me I rate the Oppo Find 5 higher than the Samsung Galaxy S4 & HTC One having had all three of them. The only device which I have used that I would rate above the Oppo Find 5 is my Droid DNA. The only con of the Oppo Find 5 is that it’s a bit on the heavier side.

Enough of comparing, let’s have some more pictures of the red Oppo Find 5 :-

Oppo is an upcoming Android manufacturer and they love to support Android developers. After the Oppo Find 5 the company is coming out with the Oppo Find 5 Mini. A picture of Oppo Find 5 Mini in various colors has leaked over the internet. The Find 5 Mini will have a smaller 3.7 inch 720p display as compared to the 5 inch 1080p on the Oppo Find 5.

The processor used will have to something other than the Snapdragon S4 to keep the price down. No word on the pricing and release date as of now. Let’s hope the price is between $300-$400.

This is as simple as it gets guys, one click recovery install just requires you to have drivers for Oppo Find 5 installed on your Windows machine (sorry Mac owners, but you can always use fastboot flash recovery filename.img).

You have the option of installing either ClockWordMod or TWRP whichever you prefer or are comfortable with.
