Earlier this month we saw leaked press renders of LG G Flex featuring a 6 inch curved display and now more images and hands-on video of LG G Flex revealed by Argentinian broadcaster Telefe.

Other than the curved display, LG G Flex seems to be carrying design elements like thin bezel, rear mounted buttons from LG’s current Android flagship LG G2. It is also said to be sporting a 6 inch FULL HD curved display and 13 MP rear camera.

Compared to Samsung Galaxy Round featuring 5.7 inch FULL HD Super flexible curved display, LG G Flex is thinner and it goes curved from top to bottom instead of left to right curved display.

It’s a known thing that both Samsung and LG Mobile has been working on smartphones with curved display. Last week Samsung made Galaxy Round with 5.7 inch FULL HD Super flexible curved display

To counter Samsung, LG seems to be launching G Flex soon – a smartphone with 6 inch curved display a bit bigger screen than Samsung Galaxy Round. No other details are known other than the press renders in this post. However these leaked press renders suggest G Flex is thinner than Galaxy Round and it goes curved from top to bottom instead of left to right curved display on Galaxy Round.

Samsung officially announced the Galaxy Round in Korea, Samsung’s curved display phone. Samsung has not made any announcement about International availability but we shall keep you posted. In the mean time here are the specs of the Galaxy Round:-

 Samsung is going to release a phone with a curved display next month in South Korea.

“We plan to introduce a smartphone with a curved display in South Korea in October,” Samsung’s mobile business head of strategic marketing D.J. Lee said on Wednesday at an event launching the Galaxy Note 3 smartphone in Seoul.

The next logical step for Samsung would be to launch a phone with flexible display. No word on the pricing and availablity on this one yet but we shall keep you posted.
