ATT Galaxy Mega SGH I527 cant get anything to work Root. KINGO support says it wont work. Any other ideas? Will not connect and says wont work on my firmware. Android 4.2.2

Hello mlg09halo, You need to flash custom boot screen through recovery,Some root tools may offer this functionality but that might not work for all devices.

So, it is better to unlock your bootloader, flash recovery and flash custom boot screen.

ok i did this my galaxy mega is rooted but can i download and use rooted apps and change my boot up screen or do i need to unlock the recovery????

Hi Robert, typically USB debugging not working (adb devices returns nothing as opposed to waiting for device) is from not acknowledging the RSA security prompt.
