Within hours of peeps getting there hands on the T-Mobile Note 3,  TWRP Recovery for  T-Mobile Note 3 is now available. The peeps at Teamwin did an amazing job at creating TWRP for T-Mobile Note 3 within a short period of time.

AT&T peeps would be jealous as the bootloader on the AT&T Note 3 is locked which shouln’t be a surprise. Just to let you know the T-Mobile Note 3 when sim unlocked works on AT&T LTE.

If you do not know what Safestrap is, well it’s a custom recovery for phones with locked bootloaders which can satisfy your need to play with custom roms.

If you own a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 we have some good news for you, xda recognized developer @Hashcode has created Safestrap recovery for you peeps who are on the locked VRUAME7 update.

What does this mean?

Well simple put this means that you can now flash custom roms on your Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4. But, you would need to wait for developers to create Safestrap compatible roms before you start going on that flashing spree.

Below is a description of Safestrap given by the developer himself.

WHAT IS SAFESTRAP?

Safestrap is a Bootstrap / Recovery for locked bootloader phones. The goal is to avoid touching your primary system (I’ll call this “stock” system) and only flash or make large changes to another place on your phone that Safestrap treats as a “2nd system” (in this case, it’s a series of virtual ROM slots located on the internal emmc area: “/sdcard”). Once installed, you will see a “Splashscreen” giving you the option to hit “menu” to enter recovery. The recovery portion of Safestrap is now based on TWRP 2.6.1.0 (a touch based recovery) and you can perform .zip installs, backups and restores here. The additional features I’ve added to TWRP are mostly located under the “Boot Options” menu:

1. Here you can create virtual ROM-slots (2 on the S4 due to partition size and internal space) for flashing ROMs. These ROM-slots allow for 3 different sizes of /data partitions: 1GB, 2GB and 3GB. NOTE: The bigger you make the /data partition the less room you will have to make other ROM-slots.
2. You can activate a new ROM-slot by choosing the slot you wish to make active and then selecting the “Activate” button. Once active, you will see the “rom-slot#” up in the top of the screen shown in green. If you make the “stock” ROM active, then you can see it in the top shown in red.
3. Once a ROM-slot is active, all actions you would normally perform using TWRP are directed to that ROM-slot. For example, “Install” to flash a .zip, backup and restore.

ClockworkMod recovery is now available for the Sony Xperia Z1. Of course you need to have an unlocked bootloader and the firmware needs to be either 518 or 526.

Flashing is pretty easy, boot into fastboot mode and then issue below command from command prompt

fastboot flash boot nameoffile.img

To boot into recovery you need to issue below command

adb reboot recovery

TWRP recovery is now available for the Nexus 7 2013. Of course you need to have an unlocked bootloader on your Nexus 7 2013. Installation is pretty easy. In case you do not know how to unlock the bootloader on your Nexus 7 2013 click here.

1) Install GooManager from the Play Store or Direct Download it and install the apk
2) Open GooManager and provide root permissions
3) Hit Menu (or the button with the 3 dots on your screen) and then Install OpenRecovery

Well that didn’t take long, did it! The bootloader and recovery from Google Edition HTC One have been dumped and are now available for download. What does this mean, well this means that we are one step closer to converting our HTC One’s to Google Edition versions. As always do not flash these if you do not know what they are supposed to do, also if you plan on installing the Google Edition bootloader make sure you have a backup of your current bootloader in case things go south.

What I hate most is when carriers (yes AT&T and Verizon am pointing at you) lock down bootloaders, but what I love most is when developers say “Up Yours” by hacking into them. AT&T LG Optimus G Pro is another example, the bootloader was locked by AT&T but enter djrbliss aka Dan and the bootloader on the AT&T LG Optimus G Pro has been hacked aka lokified.

Warning

Please note this is for AT&T LG Optimus G Pro, build E98010g only. Please do not try to flash any custom roms, kernels or anything from the recovery. This is just proof that the bootloader on the AT&T LG Optimus G pro has been hacked.

Here are the steps if you want to do them, please proceed at your own risk.

1. Download lokified cwm from here
2. untar the file and put it in internal memory of device
3. open adb session and check if your device is being detected by doing adb devices
4. get super user access by typing in su in the adb session
5. do a dd if=/sdcard/cwm-recovery.lok of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p28 to push lokified cwm to  your device
6. Do not do a reboot into recovery, instead turn off your device
7. Once device is turned off volume UP + home + power until you get into recovery

Please and I repeat please do not flash anything from this recovery, this is just a test recovery.

This is not an Odin flashable version, this is a clockworkmod or twrp flashable zip file, so you need to have a custom recovery installed.

As per sammobile everything on the port works.

ClockworkMod recovery is now available for Samsung Galaxy Mega models GT-19205 & GT-I9152.  These are the 6.3′ & 5.8′ screen size respectively. Installation is pretty simple:-

1. Go to Download Mode by pressing (Volume Down +Home +Power) and connect your phone to PC.
2. Launch Odin v3.07. Make sure that in Odin the Auto Reboot And F.Reset Time check boxes are selected, un-check the re-partition and other options.
3. Browse recovery.tar.md5 as PDA
4. Hit start and wait.
5. After installation go to CWM by pressing  Volume Up+Home+Power
